3D Printer Inset

Has your school recently acquired a 3D printer, laser cutter, CNC mill or vinyl cutter? These machines may seem complex, but with a bit of training they can become highly versatile tools for educators and students.

This 4 day course is focused on bringing teachers with little or no experience up to speed on how to use vector-based design tools and 3D modeling software to leverage the capabilities of semi-automated fabrication methods. This course is especially useful for teachers that have not had explicit training in the use of devices that are already present at their school or if they are considering expanding their existing hardware lineup. Participants should come with a laptop they are able to install software on.

PCs are preferable. Macs are OK. Please no tablets/iPads/Chromebooks.
