Kids can go nose-to-fin with cool critters, create cosmetics, learn magic or even how to glow in the dark and much more. And, with no set-up or clean-up for the grown-ups, everyone can focus on having fun.

Animal Grossology
Ages 6 & older
Explore some of the truly gross things animals do. Investigate the properties of slime as you discover why some creatures are slimy. Sift through owl “puke” as you investigate the last meal this great predator ingested. Party includes access to the limited engagement exhibition Animal Grossology. (June 1-September 2)
Mermaids & Sharks
Ages 3 & older
Explore and visit with our favorite fish friends in World Alive. Little partiers will visit the Touch Tank in the Explore More Life lab for an up-close look at live aquatic species including sea urchins and horseshoe crabs. Create a shark tooth or shell necklace to take home and much more.
Mini Archaeologist
Ages 3 & older
Excavate a mini-dig and sift through ancient sands, create fossil rubbing art and use archaeology tools to unearth treasures from long ago.
Little Builders
Ages 3 & older
Strap on a tool belt and grab a hard hat for an adventure in birthday fun! Understand that what goes up must come down as you and your friends explore gravity and structural concepts, and even build your own birdhouse.
Expedition Discovery
Ages 3 & older
Meet some of Discovery Place's animal residents including reptiles and invertebrates, and take a tour of the rainforest habitat in World Alive. Learn how animals use unique abilities, including camouflage, to survive in their environment.
Watch Me Glow
Ages 3 & older
Lighten up and learn about what makes things glow with ultraviolet light and a combination of chemicals. Partygoers will embark on a “Glow Hunt” to find a secret message for the birthday girl/boy and watch glow worms come
to live before their eyes!
Magic of Science
Ages 5 & older
Ever wonder what’s going on behind the curtain during your favorite magic tricks? Don a lab coat and safety goggles as you explore the magic of science! Learn the science behind the best tricks including disappearing water, fire paper and glow sticks.
Cosmetics Chemist
Ages 6 & older
Get gorgeous and learn the science behind beauty products. Make chocolate lip gloss and glitter lotion to go in your very own cosmetic bag. Create all of this while learning key components of chemistry including composition and structure!
Dose of Discovery
All Ages
Your Partyologist will kick off the first half hour with cake and refreshments, then give you and your guests time to enjoy the celebration before being escorted to the Museum to learn, play and experience the exhibitions.
Available for up to 20 people, with the option to add an up to 10 additional guests for a total of 30 at a cost of $10 per person . Party favor back packs and birthday t-shirt not included.

Reptile Meet ‘n' Greet - Meet 'n' greet a live animal and learn about its natural habitat, diet and unique adaptations. (Certain animals available upon request, but choices are subject to availability.)
Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream - The birthday child will help the Partyologist conduct a cool experiment that results in ice cream.
Shark Dissection (ages 6 & older) - Learn about the underwater world of sharks as the birthday child assists with a shark dissection.
