During A Day in Pompeii, the Museum hours are

Last timed-entry into A Day in Pompeii will be for a time 90 minutes prior to Museum closing.
The Discovery Place parking deck is located directly behind the Museum at the corner of
Church and Sixth Streets in downtown Charlotte. Enter the deck off of Sixth Street, grab a
ticket from the automatic attendant and pay inside the Museum at any of the Admissions Desks.

Free offsite parking is available for buses and vans. A shuttle is available for bus drivers.
All other chaperones should stay with the students while the driver parks the vehicle. Detailed
instructions will be provided upon arrival.
1. Take Exit 11, Brookshire Freeway East
2. Take the Church Street Exit (no exit number)
3. Turn right onto Church Street
4. At the third light, turn right onto 6th Street
5. Our parking deck is immediately on the right
1. Take Exit 10, Trade Street
2. Turn left onto College Street
3. Turn left onto 6th Street
4. Drive past museum, parking deck is on right
1. Take Exit 38, I-77 South
2. Take Exit 11, Brookshire Freeway East
3. Take the Church Street Exit (no exit number)
4. Turn right onto Church Street
5. At the third light, turn right onto 6th Street
6. Our parking deck is immediately on the right
1. Take Exit 36, Brookshire Blvd.
2. Turn right, heading East on Brookshire Blvd.
3. Brookshire Blvd. will become Brookshire Freeway East
4. Take the Church Street Exit (no exit number)
5. At the third light, turn right onto 6th Street
6. Our parking deck is immediately on the right
1. These roads merge into 3rd Street, towards downtown
2. Turn right onto College Street
3. Turn left onto 6th Street
4. Follow 6th Street to parking deck (will be on right, one block past museum)
1. Take Independence Blvd. West
2. Follow signs to John Belk Freeway
3. Stay in right lane, take first exit which is 6th Street
4. Follow 6th Street to parking deck (will be on right, one block past museum)
