You can Camp at the Museum Overnight - Need we say more?

Consider starting the adventure at Discovery Place, where in our Mummies, Tombs and Pharaohs Camp we’ll explore the science behind some of the most fascinating mysteries of the pyramids and the surprisingly advanced science of the Ancient Egyptians. Participate in the preparations of mummification, learn about metallurgy, and create booby traps much like the ones Egyptians designed to protect the Pyramids.

Or maybe pack your bag and experience the first ever overnight Summer Camp in the Museum. In Summer Science Institute - Overnight, you will experience the Museum as never before: after the lights go out and all of the visitors leave. What secrets and surprises does the Museum have in store for you?

Don’t forget about Outdoor Adventures: H20 where you and your new friends take an amazing trip every day to experience all Charlotte has to offer in water exploration. Canoe on Crowder’s Mountain Lake and learn about what makes water so special.

If you’ve never experienced the hair-raising activities that Amusement Park Physics has to offer, then this is the summer to do it. Prepare to push your senses to the limit, build and test your very own roller coaster, and see what a freefall really feels like!
