Spring is a Time for Renewal

As you look around and admire the incredible renewal of green life that occurs in the spring season, remember that spring also is a great time to renew your Membership to Discovery Place and Charlotte Nature Museum! And, there has never been a better time to be a Member as we wrap-up the renovation of Discovery Place in June and premiere some highly-anticipated new exhibitions including Fantastic Frogs and World Alive and two additional Explore More labs.

As Members, we hope you have had a chance to attend the special Member previews of the new exhibitions – Cool Stuff, KidScience, Discovery 3D Theatre, Project Build, Science Buzz and Think It Up. We’ve been hard at work to create entertaining and educational experiences that engage you and your family in the wonder of science. We hope that when you’ve visited or when you visit soon, you will find activities, like the new Explore More labs, that you want to come back to again and again.

Membership is the best way to experience the new Discovery Place over and over or to enjoy the changing seasons and animal residents at Charlotte Nature Museum. If you renew now through June 1, you will receive the 2009 rate of $85 for a year of Membership. Remember, Membership pays for itself in just two visits so act now before time runs out! Even if your Membership expires after June 1, you can still renew now and extend your Membership for an additional 12 months.

Renewing Members also have the exclusive opportunity to add Discovery Place KIDS-Huntersville to their Membership plan to ensure unlimited access to the new Museum when it opens in the fall. Discovery Place KIDS is a children’s museum dedicated to learning through play for kids from birth through second grade.
