Discovery Place Names New Board Members

Museum appoints seven members to Board of Trustees

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Discovery Place appointed seven new board members to the Museum’s board of trustees. They include Jeanne Brayboy, William Clyde, Ph.D. of Queens University of Charlotte, Suzanne Freeman of Carolinas Medical Center, Brian Kelly of Time Warner Cable, Lorrell Meloy of the Guild of Discovery Place and Charlotte Nature Museum, Elizabeth Perry, M.D. of Signature Healthcare and Amy Vance of Presbyterian Hospital.

Returning board members include Chuck Allen of US Airways, Rich Campbell of Sockwell Partners, Chris Cecil (Vice Chairman) of GenSpring Family Offices, Bruce U. Clayton formerly of the Corporate Bond Group, Nelson Cosgrove of Joe Gibbs Racing, Chris Cotton of Deloitte & Touche LLP, Hilary Davidson of Duke Energy, Paul S.
