Museum announces exhibition attendance number

Discovery Place, one of the top hands-on science museums in the nation, today announced the final attendance for A Day in Pompeii. The exhibition which only appeared in three U.S. cities with Charlotte being the fourth and final U.S. destination was visited by 122,818 guests between its opening, July 11, 2008 and closing, Jan. 4, 2008. More than 6200 guests visited A Day in Pompeii during the exhibition’s final three days (Friday, Jan. 2 — Sunday, Jan. 4).
