SANTA CLAUS VISITS DISCOVERY PLACE

WHAT:
Santa Claus will make special stops at Discovery Place to mingle with guests on Saturday, December 18 and Thursday, December 23. In addition to merry meeting and greeting he will assist with a special North Pole SubZero show at The Stage on both days, featuring information about climate change and North Pole fun facts.

WHEN:
Saturday, December 18
3:30-5:30 p.m.
North Pole SubZero will take place at The Stage at 4:30

Thursday, December 23
1:30-4:00 p.m.
North Pole SubZero will take place at The Stage at 3:30

Discovery Place will extend its hours from Sunday, December 26 until Friday, December 31. Operating hours will be Sunday, December 26; noon – 6:00 p.m. and Monday, December 27 until Friday, December 31; 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Discovery Place will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Discovery Place is located in uptown Charlotte at 301 N. Tryon Street. Convenient parking is available in the Museum’s parking garage – the Carol Grotnes Belk Complex – at the corner of Sixth and Church Streets.
