Discovery Place and Charlotte Nature Museum to Extend Hours November 26 and 27

Looking for an outlet to burn off that extra holiday energy? Discovery Place and Charlotte Nature Museum will extend hours on Friday, November 26 and Saturday, November 27, the days after Thanksgiving. Both museums will remain open until 6 p.m. on both days.

Operating hours at Discovery Place and Charlotte Nature Museum will be:
Friday, November 26 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 27 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Guests visiting Discovery Place during the holidays can get a peek at the perilous yet fascinating journey of climbers who take on the Eiger North Face Mountain in the new IMAX film The Alps. Leaving the cold weather behind, they can also venture into the tropical rainforest to discover the species and the ecosystems that thrive there in the rainforest show A World Apart. Little visitors to Charlotte Nature Museum can hunker down for the puppet show Wake Up Bear, about a bear’s first time being awake during the holiday season.

Discovery Place and Charlotte Nature Museum will both be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Discovery Place KIDS will be closed Thanksgiving Day and open regular operating hours on Friday, November 26 and Saturday, November 27, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
