Intern Program

College internships are offered on a term basis during three, 12 week terms per year coinciding with the academic calendar. Applications are only accepted during the recruitment period for each term and only for advertised internship positions. A listing of Internship positions is available upon request (volunteer@discoveryplace.org) and at the Museum during the recruitment period for each term. If you are interested in a topic or department which is currently not offering internships or if your schedule is incompatible with our term cycle, please contact Volunteer Services.

Internship Requirements:
* Student must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as a Junior or Senior undergraduate or enrolled in a graduate program
* Student must have met the academic guidelines set by their college or university with a minimum GPA of 2.5

Intern applicants must specify the job title on applications, resumes, and cover letters to assure proper processing. All information including the answers to all questions on the application must be received before the application is considered complete.
